If you follow my blog you may have noticed that I don't use referral links.
I know I loose the opportunity to make some extra buck here in the hyip jungle but honestly I don't feel comfortable promoting an industry where people can loose lots of money and ruin their lives. I've heard a lot of horror stories and I agree that as long as people are informed they can spend their money as they want, even throw bucks in the trashbin if it's their thing. Anyways, I still feel uncomfortable sharing my referral links, even for the programs that I consider safer.
So yesterday I got really surprised when I found a mail from Liberty Reserve notifying that I received some referral commission from a Hyip. Even more strange... I have never joined the Hyip that paid me that referral commission, I didn't know it even existed.
Well, before you consider me lucky to receive an unexpected gift I will tell you that the referral commission I got was 0.02$. Well, actually it was two referral commissions of 0.01$ each from the same hyip, to be accurate.
Is it a new marketing technique from hyip admins? Drop cents here and there in Liberty Reserve accounts hoping that someone joins their program?
Who knows.
